Senior Manager, Donor Relations

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for securing funds for FH Canada by providing donors (individuals, churches, and businesses) with opportunities to engage in our transformative work through financial partnership. This role focuses on donor cultivation, stewardship, and retention—ensuring donors remain connected, inspired, and committed to our mission.

ABOUT YOU
As our ideal candidate, you are a passionate and results-driven fundraising professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships and securing financial gifts with: 
  • 5+ years experience in major gift fundraising, donor relations, or similar
  • Proven ability to build relationships and secure major gifts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passionate about international development and FH Canada’s core values 

THE JOB
  • Cultivate & Steward Donor Relationships – Build and manage a portfolio of major donors, churches, and businesses, creating personalized engagement strategies to deepen their commitment to FH.
  • Secure Funding & Drive Revenue Growth – Develop compelling proposals, solicit major gifts, and execute fundraising plans to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Manage Donor Data & Reporting – Track donor interactions, analyze giving trends, and provide insights to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Travel for Donor Engagement – Facilitate donor visits, attend events, and travel locally and internationally to connect supporters with FH’s mission.

FURTHER QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Personal and professional dedication to FH Canada’s core values and comfortable working in a Christian environment.
  • A deep understanding of the Canadian philanthropic sector is an asset, as is experience in international development or the non-profit space.
  • Willing and able to travel within the region, domestically and internationally 
  • Reliable vehicle for personal transportation within the assigned region.

THE DETAILS
This position is full time with a flexible work schedule, requiring in office and home based work. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000  annual salary dependent on experience.  A full suite of additional benefits include full employer paid medical, dental, RRSP matching, and generous paid time off.

Compensation

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
